The Set Menus

Our set menu for lunch consists of four cold tapas dishes and five hot, and dinner five cold and six hot. Although the number of dishes and price is fixed, the dishes themselves change daily as our chefs use the morning’s deliveries to decide which dishes to serve. We can cater to all dietary requirements, and pride ourselves in offering truly delicious vegetarian and vegan dishes.

Our lunch set menu is £22.50 per person and dinner is £31 per person , you can also choose hot tapas only with bread and Aioli at £17.50 for lunch and £25 for dinner (not including drinks and desserts).

Example Set Menus

Below are four example set menus – our standard menu with meat, fish and vegetarian options, a pescatarian menu, a vegetarian menu and a vegan menu.

5 star ratingA first-class visit to Sol Y Sombra. There's a brand new menu if you want to select the tapas dishes yourself, but you can still opt for the chef's selection, which is what we did, and no regrets. An excellent 'summary' of the menu dishes, a really good mix including for me as a vegetarian (there's also a whole page vegan menu by the way). Sometimes vegetarians can feel a bit left out, but there are so many inventive and imaginative dishes here. Not just the classic tapas you can get elsewhere. My favourites were the corn ribs, vegan meatballs, vege kebab, patatas bravas (done VERY well) but also loved all the cold starters. My husband, who eats meat and fish, said there were too many to choose a favourite and was impressed by all the exciting flavours. Also enjoyed a jug of red wine sangria which was delicious and better than some of the sangrias we just had in Barcelona last month! Service was bang-on - super friendly and informal but also professional. Can highly recommend.
