Which was fab for us, as husband likes fish and seafood, but me not so much .So we each got our smaller couple of dishes to our own taste. Great plentiful supply of food, good service and nice clean venue. read less

Every visit has been busy and front of house do a fabulous job providing, efficient, friendly, genuine service to everyone. Only slight drawback we had was the sangria wasn’t the best. A slice of lemon, apple and orange, lots of ice and lemonade for £20 was a bit steep. However the overall experience was amazing. read less

Starts with assorted cold plates, goes on to assorted warm dishes. Friendly, professional, helpful staff. We had been touring Scotland for a week, and were interested in something other than traditional Scottish food (which we enjoy, but we’re in the mood for something different.). This place looked good, and TripAdvisor reviews were positive. We were not disappointed. There are two set price menus. First overall choice: with or without wine pairings. Then, each menu has a variety of dishes chosen by the kitchen with your guidance, e.g. food preferences, allergy issues, dietary needs. The hosts and server could not be more charming and helpful. My husband and I are omnivores, so anything goes — they could serve as they wished. The cold dishes and salads came first, including an array of antipasti-like dishes, meats, fish, cheese, and veges. ‘Same for the second course, but warm food. All was fresh and tasty, and good quantity. (Disclaimer: I am sometimes wary of tapas bars as I can leave feeling like I’ve only had a few snacks for dinner, even if I’ve had a number of plates. Same with sushi bars. I am a smallish woman, and a good eater but not an enormous eater. No problem at this restaurant with feeling hungry an hour later.) I forget the set price, but it felt reasonable for the quality, quantity, and service. Rather than do the wine pairing, we ordered our own bottle of rioja, reasonably priced. Nice convivial upstairs dining room, and a bar on the ground floor. I don’t know how this might affect people with disabilities. Frankly, if we lived in the area, we’d be regulars and happy to take guests here. It’s a good reason to return to The area. read less

We were seated immediately, in the downstairs area and once our food preferences were established our drinks arrive quickly. All of the food we were given was lovely, nicely presented and appropriate ( Reading some people got coleslaw which would have been disappointing). We are both good eaters and I was concerned I would not be "full" enough but I need not have worried as I only just managed to finish. No room for dessert though. I would definitely recommend, we will return next time we are in the area. Quirky decorations, especially the loo's and a nice relaxed vibe. We paid £27.50 per head plus drinks read less
