Lovely friendly staff and amazing food Visited for dinner Friday night. We were served by Stevie and Lewis who could not have been nicer! Food was amazing! The best espresso martini I've ever had! Can't wait to visit again 💜

Excellent tapas and service First time we have been to Sol Y Sombre since the change of owners and glad to see they have maintained the high standards. Staff were great welcoming and seating us, the accommodated our seating request on booking. Food was in the form of set menu, cold starters to share followed by hot starters. Staff were knowledgeable about the food and it was pretty flipping tasty as well. Tapas always looks small but it totally fills you up. Selection and quality was excellent, just as good as previous owners. We even met the owner Kelly, who said hi, which was a nice touch. Thoroughly enjoyed our food and will defo be back. Forgive the pic, we had totally scoffed the food at this point. Definitely recommend. 👍

Tasty Tapas - Chefs Choice only Great for a casual night out or a special party. My friend was a Pescatarian and I'm an eat anything person. Range of cold tapas, bread and butter and of course aioli. Followed by some lovely hot dishes. Just back from Spain and food took me back there. Will definitely be heading back.

Still doing well. Lovely food to suit everyone. Great service. Whats not to like? Good standard. Haven't been for a while and it has changed owners since so I was glad to see that there is still no menu. Great. The food was all good, a nice mixture of tapas dishes and good white wine. We really enjoyed the experience.

5 star wonderful lunch What a fantastic lunch my husband and I had today.! First time going since new owners took over and it was magical. Lovely cosy fire and very warm welcome. The staff were very polite and could not do enough for us. The food was amazing and extremely tasty. Will definitely be back. Well done.!!

Best lunch in a long time Came in today for a last minute lunch and we both got the 3 dishes for £13.50 and a jug of sangria. The food was amazing and so refreshing to have extensive vegetarian options for myself. The girl working in the restaurant was really upbeat and friendly. She helped us pick some dishes and it didn't disappoint. We could just finish the food and left stuffed. We decided to stay for an extra drink in the bar and the staff member downstairs was welcoming and had a nice chat with us. This was our first time coming back after a long time and we can't wait to return! I can't sing the staff or foods praises high enough.

Excellent As good as ever. It’s been a couple of years since we were last here. We made a last minute booking tonight on the off chance. Greeted as soon as we arrived. The 2 waiters (didn’t catch names) who served us up the stairs were great. The food was fantastic and we will definitely be back. Absolutely loved it!
